2016 Spring Bus Trip

Its Spring time in Rochester and time for another great RTOS bus trip.  RTOS members are invited to join with us on Saturday, May 14th as we travel via deluxe coach to the home of Dennis and Margaret Unks in suburban Erie, PA.  Now retired, Dennis is the former long-time owner of Organ Supply Industries (OSI) in Erie.

Installed in their music room is a 3-manual 22-rank Wurlitzer that Dennis installed a number of years ago.
Our organist for the day will be John Lauter.  John is curator and resident organist for the Stahl Automotive Museum in Chesterfield, MI where he performs regularly on the Wurlitzer installed there.  John has played twice for RTOS in past years.
As usual, 50 seats will be available for the first fifty lucky people who sign up.  Do this soon to reserve your seat.  Don’t be disappointed.

The cost will be $65.00 / person and includes transportation, bus ‘snacks’, light lunch at the Unks home and the concert.

We will leave Rochester at 9 AM SHARP!  We will travel via the thruway to the Unks home in Erie where we will enjoy a light lunch (included in the cost of the trip) upon arrival.

Following the concert our coach will whisk us up the Thruway to Aunt Millie’s Family Restaurant & Bakery near Silver Creek.  There we will order individually from Aunt Millie’s extensive menu of reasonably priced appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees and fabulous homemade desserts.  You may order as little or as much as you like.

Please Note: everyone will pay for their own dinner.  The cost of this meal is NOT included in the sign-up fee.

Following dinner we will return directly to Rochester.  We expect to arrive home no later than 8:30.
See you on the bus!
